Shanghai!

Yesterday we toured The Forbidden City, Tienimen Square, explored old Beijing on rickshaws, flew to Shanghai, and fell in bed at midnight.  That was great!  A once in a lifetime experience!  But today, I have no words to describe the joy of being given our daughter Michaela!  She is so beautiful and an absolute treasure!  Suddenly we were a family when our little girl came in the room and said "Hello Mama".  Now we are in our PJ's and ready for bed.  Good night from Shanghai :D

  8. I'm still crying....God knew all along, didn't He? These words come to mind.
Jer:29:11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jer:29:12: Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
Jer:29:13: And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

The Lord knew before the foundation of the world was formed, what would happen when Michaela walked into that room. You were created to be her parents, and she was formed to be your daughter.

Isa:55:8: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
Isa:55:9: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Praising God for this child, for you Candy, my precious sister in law, and our beloved George.
